MONDAY 17TH SEPTEMBER - cheese

In this little bag are purchases from my very favourite shop in town.
Brie de meaux
Emmental
Gruyere
Gjetost
Sharpham Rustic locally made in Devon.
I love a slice/piece of cheese for lunch on an oatcake with a small side salad of leaves, tomato and cucumber. I am but a simple soul.

benjibopper:Did you try Lapp cheese when you were in Finland?

i don't think i had Lapp cheese. but we often had what my wife refers to as 'squeeky cheese'. i forget it's real finnish name, but it sqeaks when you chew it, and it's delicious.

Lapp cheese = squeaky cheese

Your wife is right it squeaks and made me giggle when I ate it. But fun.
