FRIDAY 15TH JUNE - fabulous salad.
Went to The Glass House for lunch and enjoyed a brilliant Mozarella and tomato salad accompanied by apple juice. Good dressing too. Then a bike ride in lovely June sunshine along the edge of the Camel estuary. All the people we met were smiling and happy. It was lovely. When everyone smiles the world can only be a better place so smile at someone today........and everyday.

The wondeful effect of a simple smile never seizes to amaze me. Even the most miserable old man in Paris once gave me a radiant (yet wrinkly) smile when I smiled at him. That was in July 1999. (I have smiled once or twice since then, too.)
I never saw that old man in Paris but I have seen some grizzly old(and young) folk all over the place. They must have miserable existences but I just keep on smiling quite similar to a mad man or woman.
