MONDAY 9TH JUNE - Hidden cornwall 3 - Lamorran

The sky was unblemished sapphire blue, the air was balmy and the breeze caressed.
This was a perfect afternoon to have a small walk along one of our favourite lanes.
Our walk started here. These beautiful trees on one side
and a tranquil meadow on the other.

We walked along this lane and saw one car in the two hours we were here.

There must have been a tidal mill here once
the tidal pool is still here
you can see it through the foliage.

The creek below the tidal mill.
Low water.

The bell tower of St. Moran's church is stands alone away from the main building.

St. Mloran's church.

Stately and dignified just had to show you.

Hi Kissa, Fascinated to hear that you love Finland. I've never been but it sounds a lovely place.

Cornwall is a beautiful place and i loved going along on your walk and seeing your super photos.

Thanks

I'm enjoying discovering hidden corners of Cornwall with you. Amazing that you can leave people behind so quickly. Let them all flock to the tourist traps and leave the tranquil places to us.

It looks lovely, the lanes look very similar to here in France, but the buildings are very different. Debs x

It is just amazing (and we are so fortunate!) to log onto blogworld and travel to your Cornwall..

So summer has arrived, and I think you might beautiful summers.

I love the UK and Europe's Churches, I went crazy taking pics of all the Churches I could..your Belltower looks to have "become one" with the landscape, just integrated ..

What a beautiful walking path and sights and photos to record time standing still.

Thankyou!

Pam

welshcakes:Sorry to stir up the nostalgia!
inthemud:Nice to welcome you to my blog.Glad you liked the photos.
mountainear:I love to have the superior geographical knowledge of a local it gives a sense of one upmanship on the tourist! Cornwall has an intricate web of tiny lanes so it seems as if there are so many to discover. I am enjoying it too
lynn: Welcome.

benjibopper:yes the vegetation is very luxuriant right now.
sienna:this is a ROAD and not a path! It is very small even by Cornish standards.
leslie:Isn't it amazing how blogging can create new friendships across the globe.Bye friend!
