I had such a good trip to Scotland that I thought I would share few snippetsfrom The Isle of Mull!On the way.Loch Lubnaig - always visit the bakery in Callander and stop 8 miles up the road to consume whatever we have bought. This has become an obligatory stop on every trip to Scotland which happen very often. Tobermory - "capital" of Mull. The Gribben - spectacular basalt cliffs see the tiny road below.
Empty. It was blissfully so.
Evening clouds across Loch Scridain. It was as ever fantastically beautiful in every way imaginable. We have been visiting for as long as I can remember and it just gets better each time.

Kirsi: Thanks and it was as good as this if not even better!
Thanks, Kissa. Next time I get to Scotland, I'll be sure to check out that bakery! mmmmm....
;D
Absolutely beautiful - especially that last one. Thank you for sharing.
I love Scotland; in fact I am half Scottish and very proud of it. I have been to Mull once and thought it beautiful ;just as your photographs show.
Kissa, that looks SO beautiful. I have been to Aberdeen and the area around there. I love Scotland.
leslie: Once we went in asked for some of those danish pastries and were told they were chelsea buns well whatever they were they were tasty. Next time we asked for chelsea buns and were told they were danish now we find pointing is the best way.
welshcakes: Just in the right place/right time for the last one.
marymary: you must make it to Mull. My husband's family come from The Highlands and The Outer Hebides so that's our exuse.Ok Mull is an Inner Hebride and we have no contact on there we just love it.
Josie: Aberdeen - the granite city - a very interesting place and lovely beaches.
I don't travel much anymore, except by reading about the adventures of others. Nice pics.
bbc : Hi! Welcome.
So beautiful ....so unique, we watched a little documentary of this couple that had shifted out onto one of the Islands off Scotland, they did up an old building into a Pub, he brewed his own beer, and his wife was the chef...an obscure place and so isolated, and they had Fosters beer on tap!!? (It's an awful Australian beer)
Visiting and trying out the local bakeries and food and meeting the locals, discovering...it doesn't get much better. A lot of fun Kissa, just a lot of fun and beauty over there you have.
Pam
sienna: Hi Pam. You are so right it is the little experiences that are the real travelling, the food shops bakers and butchers (there are so many regional variations in the Uk) and of course the pubs where conversing with the locals or even evesdropping gives you local insight.I wonder where that island is? The UK is a small island with an awful lot of variety squeezed in!
Hi my name is Susan i used to live in Tobermory when i was a child. then my mum and dad moved my brother John, sister Catherine and i to Canada. but Tob will always be home, you always hear the sea and the hills calling you home. most of my family still live there, your photos made me homesick.but they were nice to see thanks.
bluestranger2: Nice to welcome you. Tob is a place we have visited for over 30 yrs. No family on Mull but my husband's mum is from FW and Isle of Harris.
