Saturday saw us in Penzance being entertained at The Acorn Theatre by Zambula (www.Zambula.co.uk) a Congalese band of huge amounts of energy. The rhythms were fantastic and the enthusiasm was infectious, many people were dancing.
The world must be getting smaller as I was musing to myself the circumstances which brought these guys to a small theatre in West Cornwall.
My life has been made richer by this encounter.

U make me smile, because I actually know where Penzance is, just because I read a book last year that mentioned the place, I had to look it up! Sounds like a great, summery event :-)
It was inside a converted chapel which is now a small theatre. The atmosphere was summery but outside it was raining - as seems to be doing every day in the UK this summer. I smile when I think of Stockholm as I stayed in the Youth Hostel boat some years ago and had a glorious 3 days there.
Ah that's great! They are renovating that boat right now, it's kinda strange not to have it in the scenery. I live in the Old Town just opposite from it.
And the rain...it's here all this summer too, which sucks. I hate the dark winters and was hoping to stock up on sun, now instead I'm planning for trips to sunnier places this winter!
