FRIDAY 27TH JULY - SHAMBO

Shambo the pampered and revered bull lived in a stable at a Hindu monastry in Skanda vale in South Wales.
The ministry vet decreed that he must go as he has TB. His life was fought for and those who cared failed so that all that is left is an empty stall. http://www.skandavale.org/webcam/webcam.htm
View this and feel sad.
TB is bad news and life can be harsh. Remember him with love!

I saw this on the news last night. It was very sad, and folks seemed to be devastated. And yes, people could have become infected from him, so unfortunately he had to go. I suppose now they will all have to have contact tracing?

G'day Kissa

We heard about Shambo here in Australia too, it came over the radio...I think 3/4 of the world have sent out great vibes for him..

I am so impressed you play the didgeridoo! That is a fine challenge to muster.

One of my favorite places of the UK was the coast around there, we get a lot of wind here so when we got there and it was windy and a little wild (north part) we were used to it..

My nephew just sent me through pics of Glastonbury (mud:) ) music festival..

I love Cornish pasties.

Nice to meet you!

Pam

Hi Kissa, I wandered over from Pam's to visit. I hadn't heard about Shambo. Thanks for sharing his sad story. I had not thought about animals having TB.
